Mr. Theodoros Lokkas was born in Larissa. He studied with a scholarship
from the National Scholarships Foundation (I.K.Y.), in the Department of Mathematical
Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki holding a postgraduate
degree (M.Sc.)
from the University of Manchester Institute of Science and Technology in the
field of Automatic
Control Systems (ACS). Part of his studies was his attendance at the
Department of Informatics of the Technical University of Karlsruhe.
He was a Professor at the Department of Civil Engineering of the
Technological Educational Institution (T.E.I.) of Thessaly with many years of
academic and teaching experience.
He has lectured ‘Mathematics I and II’, ‘Applied Mathematics’, ‘Economic
Mathematics’, the Mathematical Program ‘Derive for Windows’, ‘Documentary
Geometry’ and ‘Statistics’, providing the respective books and notes to the
students.
During his academic career he has also participated in the organization,
coordination and teaching of numerous programs and training seminars of
Complementary Education for Graduates related to Computer Science and its
applications.
His works have been presented at international conferences abroad and
have been published in prestigious scientific journals of Mathematics, European
and non-European.
